We had a beautiful evening for Samuel’s 6 month old session. He showed off his sitting skills and also loved snuggling with mom and dad during the entire short session.
It’s been a year since I’ve seen the Dvorsky family and little John Paul is turning into quite the little man. I quickly learned this 2 year old’s favorite thing to say is “Ready. Set. GO!” As with all toddlers, he had us all on the move for the entire session.
It’s been a year since I’ve seen the Borkowski family. I’m so glad we had to reschedule this session due to weather this past weekend. We ended up having the perfect fall evening. The air was a little crisp but I kept these boys moving during their short family session.
It’s been a year since I’ve seen the Chadwick family and they’ve added a new family member! Little 3 month old Amelia is here and was ready for their fall family pictures. Her brothers had the best time of all and couldn’t stop laughing and smiling during the quick 30-minute session.
It was great to meet the Chandler family for their quick fall family portrait session. Little 4 month old Madelynn was so sweet. Her “big brother” Duke had a lot of energy but when it was show time, he posed perfectly for their family pictures.
Little Paxton came into the studio with his mom for a short newborn session. This session is 60-90 minutes in the studio and is just of baby. It’s perfect for families that want to capture images of their tiny new edition but aren’t interested in including the full family or siblings at that time. It’s a super laid back session and a fun time for me to chat with parents while they sit back on the couch and relax while I work with their baby. Little Paxton’s session went perfectly and I think I hit the nail on the head when his mom told me they like dark shade and to include grey and blue.
Family sessions with a 2 year old are always on the go. This is the age when the toddlers can move fast and when they have their mind set on something, there isn’t much you can do to change it. So this is why many of my family sessions including a 2 year old are a lot more active and candid. Jack’s session is the perfect session. I think we stopped moving for 30 seconds throughout the entire 30 minute short session. It was a fun session and now mom will have images to remember this active time in her son’s life.
I know I always say this, but it is true…it feels like just yesterday that I did Natalie and Mike’s maternity session at their house in Sun Prairie and now their little Landon is 1 year old! It was great to go back out to their house and capture this milestone in the same location. It was even more special this time around since Natalie parents were in town and we were able to get a few pictures of Landon with his grandparents.
I spent the beautiful summer evening trying to keep up with 18 month old Chase during his milestone session. It was a short family session so only lasted 30 minutes, but he had me moving the entire time…and thought it was hilarious. I’m so glad his mom was gifted this session from a family friend for Christmas and I was able to meet them 6 months later. Family pictures—what a great present!
We had a beautiful spring evening for the Bergeson family portraits.
