Little 9 day old Lyla came into the studio with her soon-to-be 2 year old big brother. It was fun to meet this family of four and capture this time special time for them.
11 day old Violet is probably the smallest newborn I’ve photographed. She was born a month early, but don’t let her size fool you. She’s one strong and healthy baby girl. Her mom and dad from DeForest are just smitten over her, and I don’t blame them one bit.
Mom had one request for this short newborn session: Have some pictures with her daughter’s feet showing since casts will be put on in the very near future to start the process of correcting clubfoot. Miss Amaya love being wrapped up and made me work for it, but we got it!
Newborn baby Kennedy joined me in the studio with her 2 year old big sister and 4 year old big brother. These three were perfect for the family newborn session. I was so impressed with how loving the two older siblings were towards their new baby sister. It was a pleasure to capture these moments for this family of five.
I met Noah and Kathy just over a year ago for their fall family pictures session. I was so excited when Kathy contacted me to setup their family newborn session for her baby girl. Miss Annabelle was so precious all wrapped in pink. Big brother Jack was loving his new little sister.
Crazy to think I just saw the Bichler family just two weeks ago for their family maternity session. Baby Lainee came just 6 days later. Newborn photography is so special since these little babies are this tiny for such a short amount of time. In a blink of on eye they will be walking and talking. Big brother and sister were super sweet with their new sister. Family snuggles on the couch are always fun in the studio. And Lainee slept like a dream so we were able to get a good variety of setups too. I can’t decide which one is my favorite. She looked adorable in everything we did.
I had a wonderful session with Meredith & Trent. I met their baby girl in the studio in Sun Prairie. She was perfect for her timeless and classic styled session but my favorite setup was when we used a pink and white blanket her late great grandmother had made for her.
I was so excited to set up newborn portraits for Ann and Joe’s baby girl. She was the first baby in the new studio space on Main St in Sun Prairie. She was a dream to work with and I didn’t see her eyes the entire two-and-a-half hours. From setups with purple/brown and tiny bunnies to Christmas theme of red/white night caps, she rocked every one.
This newborn session was the last session in my in-home studio. Since meeting Miss Everly, I have moved into my studio space on Main Street in Sun Prairie. I’m glad I was able to sneak her into the studio before things got a little hectic with the move.
When Everly’s mom contacted me about the newborn pictures, she mentioned how she was being born into a family of popcorn farmers and they wanted to incorporate that into one of the set-ups. I’m so glad they thought of bringing the corn. The setup turned out super cute.
