My Wyatt turned 2 years old in December and I’m catching up on posting his quick mini session we did in the studio.
After having to reschedule due to a high of -3 last weekend, we couldn’t have asked for better weather for this family’s mini session at the UW Arboretum. It’s always great to get out and capture family pictures in a snowy Wisconsin setting.
I’ve been trying to get these cousins together since there were only three of them. Now that there are five girls, we had to get them into the studio for a quick mini session. Having 5 girls in my small studio was not the easiest task considering the youngest is 3 months old and there are two 2 year olds in the group. I’m so glad I was also able to capture a couple special pictures of mother and daughter for the two that were in town from Minnesota.
It’s very rare to get all three of my kids in the studio for pictures. So rare we haven’t done it in over a year but Wyatt is now two and I thought it was time. Having twins was challenging when they were young but every day that goes by it gets easier and they are built in friends for life which is great.
It was great to see Courtnee and her two girls. They drove down from Wautoma recently for their mini session in Sun Prairie. It’s been a year since I’ve seen Daphnee and she’s grown so much! Meeting 3 month old Elliette was a treat too. Getting a 2 year old and a 3 month old to lay on the floor long enough together to get a picture together was slightly tricky, but worth it in the end.
Beautiful sweet girls, Courtnee and Chris!
It’s hard to believe we were able to squeeze in a mini session at the end of November in Wisconsin that didn’t include snow. We lucked out with our session and it was perfect for this family of four.
Two years ago I had the pleasure of meeting this family for the first time. I was so happy they contacted me when they were in town so we could squeeze in a session. Loved meeting their newest addition to the family too! Smiles all around.
We squeezed this last minute mini session in just in the nick of time. What a beautiful evening we had in Windsor, WI. Miss Eleanor has to be one of the smiliest one year olds I’ve ever met. And fastest!
9 month old Sylvia came into my studio in Sun Prairie to show off her standing skills. She even brought her big brother with her to this mini session so we could get a cute picture of these siblings.
18 month old sessions are always challenging. This is the age when toddlers are on the go and are usually hard to please unless it’s their idea. Sarah was an exception to the rule and we had a great mini session. She did keep us on our toes and loved to show me how she can jump. It was also a special session since we were able to squeeze in a picture with her and her grand parents visiting from Minnesota.
