We had a beautiful evening for Samuel’s 6 month old session. He showed off his sitting skills and also loved snuggling with mom and dad during the entire short session.
It was almost 2 years to the exact day we did Jenny and Cory’s first maternity session. It was fun to see them again for a beautiful evening to capture their growing family. Toddler Taylor was loving every minute of cuddling with mom and dad. I can’t wait to see this growing family again in a couple months for their newborn session.
Kaylani joined me in the studio for her 1st birthday milestone session. We had a lot of fun playing on the couch with her mom and dad. Then we switched things up so she could show me her birthday tutu.
It felt like just yesterday that I met Quintin for his newborn session. Hard to believe he is now one year old. He joined me in the studio (and out on main street) for his milestone session with a smash cake. The smash cake session was “snow” themed!
It’s been a year since I’ve seen the Dvorsky family and little John Paul is turning into quite the little man. I quickly learned this 2 year old’s favorite thing to say is “Ready. Set. GO!” As with all toddlers, he had us all on the move for the entire session.
It was Brynnley’s golden birthday the day we met for their outdoor family session so I made a point to run to the studio and fill up 1 golden balloon for her before heading to the park. At first she wasn’t too sure on what to do with it but eventually she was all smiles and had a great time with her mom and dad. She’ll be in the studio in a couple days for her smash cake session!
We had a beautiful fall evening for the Nelson family. Little 2 year old Charlie liked snuggling with mom and dad but really loved running…running and running more.
When Lori and I started to compare our fall schedules this year we knew it was going to be tough to squeeze in their annual family pictures but we were determined to make it happen. Then Mother Nature decided to throw a lot of curve balls at us this fall. After a couple rescheduled times, I was finally able to meet her and her family at their family farm in Lone Rock, WI. Three year old Connie did amazing with the cold temps. It was a little tougher for 9 month old Vivian to fake it 🙂 I think the only time we got her to fully smile was when Lori would pick her up and make her fly up to her big sister on dad’s shoulders.
Last year I met Neil and his family at the Union Terrace. This year we did their short family session on Main Street in Sun Prairie. It’s always great when they come down from Appleton for their annual pictures. I’ve been photographing Neil since he was a newborn and I’m always surprised with how big he gets. He’s now 5 years old and full of energy.
Miss Finley is one year old. Hard to believe. I still use one of her newborn photos in many of my promotion pieces. (baby hammock pose and more of my favorites from her newborn session here)
Here hair has lightened but still as thick as can be. She was a joy to have in the studio for her one year session. We did have to get creative to get her away from daddy but she eventually warmed up to the idea and then dug right into her smash cake.
