Extended Family Portraits with the Wolff Family

We had a beautiful afternoon for the quick outdoor session with the Wolff family. It’s been 9 months since I’ve seen half of the crew for little Miss Kennedy’s newborn portraits in the studio. It was my first time meeting the rest of the family. The four kids did fantastic. As always, the candid ones with grandma and grandpa are always my favorite.

Extended Family Session | Short Studio Session in Sun Prairie

It’s spring in Sun Prairie and many families are getting out to get their updated family sessions. The Boguszewski family came into the studio for a short 30-minute session while extended family was visiting to get a full family picture. Even though these pictures were done in the studio, their outfit choices were spot on and scream spring. I love it!

I always love including grandma and grandpa during sessions. It was such a fun session. We laughed and joked through the entire thing and it was over before we knew it.

Extended Family Session with

Last Christmas BJ reached out to me to purchase a session for a gift for his family. Since everyone in his family is spread across several states, it took a little time to finally get everyone together but it finally took place. We had so much fun at their family home in Sun Prairie. Even Eddie the dog joined in. I think their family photo with everyone rubbing grandpa’s head is by far my favorite extended family photo I’ve ever taken. So many laughs by all.

40th Wedding Anniversary Gift | Extended Family Session at Golden Hour Near Sun Prairie

It was a beautiful summer evening when I met the Meyer family out for their extended family session. Erik had contacted me months to set up this session as a gift for his parents 40th wedding anniversary. Full family picture are always great ideas for gifts even if the logistics of getting multiple family schedules to line up is a little tricky. This is a gift grandma and grandpa will treasure forever. And something the children will love to look back on.

Extended Family Session in Stoughton, WI turned into Surprise Wedding Proposal

We had a beautiful evening at John and Cheryl’s home in Stoughton for their extended family pictures in their backyard. We had fun and laughed the entire hour but I’m sure everyone would agree that the best moment was when Tom got down on one knee and surprised the family by proposing to Kaitlyn!

Formal Family Studio Portraits | Extended family | Sun Prairie Photography Studio

Kathy contacted me a couple months back to set up an extended family session in the studio. All of her children and their families would be in Windsor for Thanksgiving and she wanted a full family picture before they all headed back to their homes in other states. Luckily the new studio has enough space for the 7 adults and 3 young boys.

Extended Family Portraits as Gift for Grandparents | At Family Home in Middleton WI

Rachel contacted me to do an extended family portrait session as a Christmas gift for her parents. The window to get it in was tough since 2 of their families live in the Twin Cities and would only be visiting for one weekend in October. We lucked out with weather and had a beautiful day at their family home in Middleton. What a great gift to give your parents! I’m sure they will treasure these photos forever.

We even made time to breakout and do pictures for each family!
