Theodore is turning one and had his milestone session with cake and a bubble bath. I love the way his whipped cream frosting cake made a complete mess. He loved ever part of it. He had a hard time deciding if he wanted to eat cake or play with balloons so at points he was doing both. His quick bath at the end was the perfect way to clean him up and get some super cute pictures at the same time.
It feels like just yesterday that I met Lindsey and Brandon for their snowy maternity session (found here). Their baby boy Alexzander has arrived and is adorable. I can’t wait to see this little man for all of his first milestones throughout the next year. Of course we had to get a hockey set up while he was here.
Amanda and Adam contacted me a couple months ago to set up their baby boy’s newborn pictures. Baby Theodore was a superstar for his session and I can’t wait to watch him grow over the next year. Adorable!
After having to reschedule due to a high of -3 last weekend, we couldn’t have asked for better weather for this family’s mini session at the UW Arboretum. It’s always great to get out and capture family pictures in a snowy Wisconsin setting.
It was my first time meeting this family of four for their family pictures. At first I thought the children were going to be shy the entire session but quickly they warmed up to me and I got my workout running after 2 year old Dami the entire time.
I met Erica while waiting for our children to get off of the school bus. Her oldest now attends Royal Oaks in Sun Prairie which is where my 6 year old twins go to first grade. We had a lovely evening mini session with her husband and two boys. I must say the boys are not only adorable but extremely well-behaved and so much fun to be around.
It’s always fantastic when people contact me for a session with their extended family. Last year I photographed Julie’s family but this year her sister Nicole contacted me to do a full family session. I always love to include grandparents whenever possible and if that meant fighting 90 degree temps and two 3-year olds and two 5-year olds, I was up for it. You know it was a successful session when Grandma Linda says “That was fun.”
