Allison came into the studio for her first birthday milestone session. At first she wasn’t sure about all of the lights but once she got comfortable, she was cruising fast!
The last time I saw these three boys was when little Davis was just 2 months old. They had one of my favorite sibling pictures to date in that session. (Check it out here.)
Now Davis is one year old and they came in to celebrate with cake. I was super excited when mom asked to have the older boys join their brother.
Landon came into the studio for his 1 year milestone session. We did a few individual portraits before letting him dive into his cake. He wasn’t sure what to do with it until we gave him a spoon! 🙂 We ended the session getting cleaned up in the bubble bath.
Happy Birthday Landon!
It was Brynnley’s golden birthday the day we met for their outdoor family session so I made a point to run to the studio and fill up 1 golden balloon for her before heading to the park. At first she wasn’t too sure on what to do with it but eventually she was all smiles and had a great time with her mom and dad. She’ll be in the studio in a couple days for her smash cake session!
It’s been a year since I’ve seen the Borkowski family. I’m so glad we had to reschedule this session due to weather this past weekend. We ended up having the perfect fall evening. The air was a little crisp but I kept these boys moving during their short family session.
It was fun to celebrate Uthara’s 1st birthday as a milestone session in the studio. At first she wasn’t sure what to think about the studio but she warmed up just enough for me to see her beautiful smile. Her favorite thing to do is have mom or dad bounce her…and snuggle…lots and lots of snuggles. So sweet!
It’s been 2 years since I’ve seen 3 year old Audrey. She is now a big sister to 1 year old Ivy. We spent 30 minutes together to get a few updated portraits of the girls together and separate. I think Audrey’s favorite part was showing me how she can twirl in her dress.
I spent the morning at the Memorial Union Terrace to celebrate Harutaka’s 1st birthday. For this special milestone session, his mom asked to do it at the terrace. Harutaka’s dad is a PhD studio at Madison and they’ve lived here a couple years and want to make sure they remember all of their special spots they enjoy in the city. The terrace is always a favorite of mine too since it’s so colorful, no matter what (… well, as long as the table and chairs are out).
Happy 1st Birthday Harutaka! You are the cutest little sailor around.
It was a pleasure meeting Katie and her family of four (soon-to-be 5) for their family maternity session. The skies were overcast but we didn’t let that spoil our fun. I’m not going to lie, doing a family maternity session with a 1 year old, 2 year old AND family dog was no easy task but the Lewitzke family was so laid back and just wanting to have fun that it worked out perfectly. We were able to get some great posed family maternity pictures and the gallery also has several fantastic outtakes (like that last one) that shows real life and are too much fun not to include in the gallery.
It was a breezy evening when I met the Cretney family out for their short family session but considering they were packing up to move in a few days, we didn’t have a lot of options to reschedule so we opted to do the session. The girls had a blast and were so smiley the entire time.
